My iPod touch(4th Generation) Review:
The iPod touch, in my opinion, is amazing. I absolutely love it. And here's why.
What is it?
The iPod touch is an iPod, browser, Movie Theater, game console, video camera, and much, much more. It comes in 8, 32, and 64 GB sizes; iOS 4 has a retina display, motion control for gaming and scrolling. It is a tech spec monster. It has 2 camera's, on the front and on the back, A touch screen (obviously, hence the name "iPod touch"). And many more cool things to play around with.
Graphics
The iPod touch 4th generations graphics are breathtaking. With HD and retina display, they are at least 2x better that the Nintendo DS. There are a few little flickers and glitches here and there but they are barely noticeable. Compared to other handheld devices like the Nintendo DS and the PSP there is no comparison.
Software/Applications
Not only do the graphic and the technology put in the iPod touch blow me away, but the apps and software as well. You start off with about 15 built in apps and when you're done you'll probably end with over 200. The built in apps include Music, Safari, You Tube, iTunes, Mail (email) and many more. There are also great free apps from the App Store like Facebook, Twitter, Google, and ESPN Scorecaster.
Gameplay
My personal favorite feature of the iPod touch is the gameplay, or the game apps. There are so many games or apps to choose from like Angry Birds, Cut the Rope, and more. The games are fun and entertaining, and for only 1 to 3 dollars for each game, it's a great value. In my opinion, the games and the apps are so entertaining I think that they are better than what I had on the DS.
Overall Review
I know I've already said this about a million times but I cannot stress it enough, the iPod touch is amazing. I give it a 9 out of 10 because of a few app failures here and there but that isn't really a big deal.
