Dog movies are a favorite of kids. This is a list of some of our favorites. The list contains dog movie classics like Sounder and 101 Dalmatians, but also relatively new movies like Bolt, which stars the voice of Mylie Cyrus. The movie Because of Winn-Dixie comes from a book of one of our favorite authors, Kate DiCamillo, tells the story of a lonely young girl whose dog becomes her best friend and helps make her new friends too. Some of these movies are funny like Snow Dogs and Beethoven, while others are adventurous like Bolt and Homeward Bound.

Whether you are a dog lover or not, we hope you enjoy many of these movies. Keep in mind that some are rated PG. Kids, always be sure to check with your parents before watching any movie.
